Yikes, looks like I might have to rethink getting this game:

Recommended Specifications:

• Processor Pentium IV 3000 MHz or analogous AMD
• RAM 1Gb
• Videocard Nvidia GF7800 with 256Mb or analogous by ATI

The key word here is Recommended Specifications. The Minimum System Requirements aren't available yet.

For myself, I have a 3½ year old computer which meets all the recommended specifications except my Video Card is a GF7600 with 256Mb … so I'm thinking King's Bounty would probably run okay on my rig. I'm just wondering what copy-protection they're planning to use.

I'll be getting this regardless of whether it sucks or not. I'm a sucker for turn-based battle games and since they are in such low quantity these days, I try to get my hands on all I can get.

Quick question. 1C's other game, Fantasy Wars, does anyone know if that had Starforce on it? If so, I have the game and I haven't seen any ill effects from it.

Always a good practice to read player reviews. However, I'm very optimistic about KB.

It seems like Heroes with a twist...a good thing in my book.

It can't be worse than say...Dungeon Lords.
