Might and Magic mods, projects and stuff (updated)

The role-playing games (I-X) that started it all and the various spin-offs (including Dark Messiah).

I would be honored if the following mods were featured in this list:

Isles of Terra Monster Spawn mod

World of Xeen Monster Spawn Mod

As a cursory glance at the changelogs available via the two links might indicate, they are "Monster Spawn mods" but are so much more than that. In short, they attempt to add a "Might and Magic 2" dimension to these games, so that you never run out of combat opportunities. An attempt is made to balance the Ranger/Druid spell system with the Cleric and Sorcerer spellbooks, and the Isles of Terra mod includes a couple of bugfixes as well.

Obviously, I tailored these mods to cater to Might and Magic combat aficionados, and they may be tedious to those who'd rather play the games for the story. However, there are numerous edits that may interest casual gamers as well (such as the opened Easter egg in MM3).

Of course, I think it's great fun to go back a couple of areas to kick the crap out of monsters that used to terrorize my party when they were a few levels inferior. In my opinion that's helps drive home the feeling of accomplishment as your party gains in power.

What about Jeff Ludwig's Might and Magic: World of Xeen Epic Remix mod here, or his Might and Magic III Epic Remix mod here?

Additionally, I started a Let's Play for World of Xeen Epic Remix on YouTube here.

I know this is a big necropost but... does anyone have the finished mods from the OP?

all the links are dead including http://www.mediafire.com/BDJs
BDJ is the author himself I believe.
I'm specifically hoping to find MM7Rev4modR1 and Might and Magic VI: The Chaos Conspiracy

Damn, I wish we had some sort of a level editor like the one in gallery for MM.
Also, hi Talin! How's your game collection going? ;)

Hi, I want to show you a project I'm working on:

https://www.facebook.com/mm7.fan.remake/
ImageImageImage
(more screenshots & videos on the facebook page)

I was going to create a crowdfunding campaign to finish it, with no commercial benefit, and just distribute it among the backers. But it appears that I'll will be in trouble, even if it's non profit. I have worked on it full time during 4 months. If I change to do this on spare time, it will die as so many other MM projects.

One thing I could do is change all the portraits, items, spells, shop background videos (hard!). But I don't know if it has any sense, this would take more time & resources, and it may loose the MM feeling.

What do you think?

I've been investigating and with Patreon the same copyright issues happens :(
I'll change all the gfx, sounds and story, and it'll be MM7 inspired, but not a fan remake. Not my first intention, but what can be done.
I think MM7 fans will like it!

The screens and videos look very appealing. Replacing every sound and graphic is, indeed, likely to damage the feeling. Put a donate link on your homepage and promote your site in MM communities? Considering their low activity, not likely to get enough attention though... If i only would have a few spare millions :p
